The basic policies and guiding principles for the Village PTA are the same as the state and national PTAs:

• Be educational. The basic aim is to help parents, teachers and other interested persons gain knowledge of the growth, development, and needs of our children.

• Be non-commercial, non-sectarian, and non-partisan. The Village PTA shall work with schools to provide quality education for ALL children.

• Cooperate with other agencies or organizations whose goals are in keeping with the PTA Objectives.

• Support legislation on the basis of issues or principles, not candidates or political parties.

When you join the PTA you will:

• Vote on issues that are important to your child’s school

• Meet other caring and concerned parents and teachers

• Support programs that are educational and fun

• Be involved in your child’s school life

Did you know the Village School PTA organizes, coordinates and entirely runs activities your children love. Examples of events conducted by Village PTA in the past are below:

• Happy “Howl” day Activities

• Fall and Spring Book Fairs

•  4th Grade Record Setters

•  5th Grade Carnival

•  Family Fun Events featuring Sporting Events and Ice Skating Party

With your generous support, the PTA sponsors:

•  Educational assemblies for our children

•  Health and safety awareness programs

• The Village School Directory, and much more

Additionally, the PTA also runs programs that help children in need.
